Please note: We're currently in the process of updating our support content that reflects the latest branding and terminology. Until this work is completed, you may notice references to our former name and some terminology that has since been updated.
While the core functionality remains the same, certain labels and interface elements may differ slightly from the current version of the platform. Thank you for your understanding in the meantime.
Step 1: Request an APIv1 Key from ChurchSuite
To begin, you’ll need to obtain an APIv1 key from ChurchSuite.
- Create a dummy admin user account in ChurchSuite before requesting the key.
- This ensures the key isn’t tied to an individual who might leave your organisation.
- Request the APIv1 key by contacting ChurchSuite support at support@churchsuite.com.
Step 2: Prepare Jovo for Integration
Once you have the APIv1 key and dummy admin account ready:
- Log in to Jovo and create an Area if one doesn’t already exist for your integration.
- Inside the Area, go to the Integrations tab.
Step 3: Add the ChurchSuite Integration
- Click on the + icon in the Integrations tab, located above the Community Syncs list.
- Select the ChurchSuite Small Groups option from the available integrations.
Step 4: Enter Required Details
- Fill in your ChurchSuite Account URL (e.g.,
example.churchsuite.com). - Paste your API key from ChurchSuite into the relevant field.
- Double-check all details for accuracy.
Step 5: Finalise and Verify
- Click Create to activate the integration.
- Once completed, syncing will begin.
- Communities for all the small groups in your ChurchSuite account will now appear within the selected Area in Jovo.
By following these steps, you’ll streamline group management and improve your organisation's communication capabilities. If you encounter any issues, please contact our support team for assistance.
