The youth group and the worship team, the Sunday rota and the whole-church announcement, each in its own space, all in an app anyone can pick up from day one.
Messaging Tools
When you need to settle something, a poll gets you an answer without forty replies. Messages, audio and video are all there too, and you can write a post now and schedule it to send later, so Sunday's notice goes out on Sunday morning.
Multi-Groups
Sometimes one message needs to reach several groups at once, an all-staff notice, or a change that affects every ministry. Instead of posting it five times, post it once to a Multi-Group and it reaches every group inside it. People reply in their own group, as normal, so the conversation doesn't turn into one huge thread.

Onboarding
Easy to set up, with nothing to learn. Jovo works like the group chats your church already uses, so there's no training to organise. New members join with a name and an email address, through a link you send or a QR code they scan, and nobody walks away holding everyone else's mobile number.
Choose When You're Notified
Everyone sets the days and hours they want to be notified. Outside those hours, messages arrive without a notification, so nobody's phone goes off at the wrong time. A youth leader can post on a Saturday night without worrying about phones lighting up at midnight, because each person has already set the times that work for them.

Safeguarding
Safeguarding, Built in from the Start
A church looks after young people and vulnerable adults, and carries a duty to keep them safe. A personal messaging app was never built for that. Jovo was, and it shows in two ways.
Every conversation stays visible
Jovo has no private messaging. It is not a setting to switch on, because it does not exist. That means there is no route for an adult to start a private conversation with a young person. A youth leader messages the youth group, a worship leader messages the worship team.
Safeguarding Logs
When a safeguarding concern is raised, the questions are always the same. What was said, when and by whom. On a personal messaging app, the answers can depend on who kept screenshots.
Jovo logs safeguarding events as they happen:
- Posts edited or deleted
- Content reported
- Members blocked
- Other moderation activity, logged the same way
Your safeguarding lead investigates from a factual account rather than recollections, and the church has a record of how the concern was handled.
Shared Administration
Shared across your leaders, not carried by one.
One person can end up looking after every group, every list and every password. That works until they go on holiday.
Jovo lets you share that responsibility across your leaders, so it no longer rests on one person. Whoever runs youth work can look after the youth groups, whoever runs the worship team looks after theirs, and each administrator sees only the groups and members they're responsible for.
