How to Use Jovo on Desktop
Jovo can be used easily on your desktop by accessing it via a browser or by installing it as a desktop app. Follow these simple steps to get started:
Accessing Jovo via Browser
- Sign In: Open Chrome and navigate to the Jovo website. Click "Sign In" to access your admin page.
- Admin Page: Once logged in, you can switch between the admin section and the web app. This allows you to manage messages, reply, send photos, and more.
Installing Jovo as a Desktop App
For users who prefer the convenience of a desktop app, Chrome allows you to create one from the Jovo web app. Follow these steps:
For Chrome Windows and Mac:
- Open Chrome: Navigate to the Jovo web app.
- Access the Menu: Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of your Chrome browser.
- Install as App: Select the "Cast, Save, Share" option, then Scroll down and select "Install page as app."
- Name the App: A prompt will appear. You can name it "Jovo Web App" or any name you prefer.
- Installation: After clicking install, the Jovo app will appear in your Chrome apps folder and can be pinned to your Dock or taskbar.
For Safari Windows and Mac:
- Open Safari: Navigate to the Jovo web app.
- Access the File Menu: Click the File menu at the top of your screen.
- Install as App: click "Add to Dock".
- Name the App: A prompt will appear. You can name it "Jovo Web App" or any name you prefer.
- Installation: The Jovo app will appear in your Dock or taskbar after clicking install.
For Microsoft Edge Windows and Mac:
- Open Safari: Navigate to the Jovo web app.
- Access the File Menu: Click the three horizontal dots on the top-right-hand side of your Edge browser.
- Install as App: Select the "Apps" option, then Scroll down and select "Install Site as app."
- Name the App: A prompt will appear. You can name it "Jovo Web App" or any name you prefer.
- Installation: The Jovo app will appear in your Dock or taskbar after clicking install.
Using Jovo as a Desktop App
- Once installed, you can quickly launch the Jovo app from your Dock or taskbar without opening the browser.
- The desktop app behaves similarly to the web app, allowing you to manage all your tasks seamlessly.
Now you can enjoy quick access to Jovo directly from your desktop!
