A Multi-Group lets you send one update to several Groups at once. Creating it is the first half of the job. Connecting Groups to it is the second, and it takes less than a minute.
This article is for anyone with admin access to the Jovo admin site who has created a Multi-Group and now needs to choose which Groups it reaches.
Take a moment to read through the Connected Groups list once you have added everything. Anyone in a connected Group will receive what you post to the Multi-Group, so this list is the simplest way to see exactly who you are talking to. It is much easier to check now than to explain an update that went somewhere unintended.
Teams grow, new Groups get created and responsibilities move around. You can return to the Connected Groups tab whenever you need to and add more Groups in the same way. A Multi-Group is not fixed at the point you create it, so it can keep pace with how you actually work.
If you find you are missing a Group you expected to see, check that it has been set up first. How to create a Group walks through that, and What are the different types of Groups? explains which type suits each part of your community.
You have connected your Groups, so your Multi-Group is ready to use. You can now write one post and have it reach every connected Group, instead of repeating yourself across several places and hoping nothing gets missed. The people in each Group carry on using Jovo exactly as they did before, and you get a single, straightforward way to reach all of them at once.
