Within each Jovo Group, there are several different levels of permissions that determine what each member is authorised to do:
Note: Only a Group Owner can set permissions within a Group in the app. You can either do this when adding new members to a group, or you can change an existing member’s permissions once they have been added.
On the Group page, tap on the member icon in the top right corner. For the member whose permissions you’d like to edit, select the 3 dot symbol next to their name.
This will open a screen that lets you set their permission levels, as described above. Once you’ve selected the correct permissions, hit the green “Save” button at the bottom.
Note: In order to set membership permissions using the admin website, you must be one of the following:
You can do this either when adding new members to a group, or you can change an existing member’s permissions once they have been added.
Log into your account on the my.jovoapp.com/admin/ portal.
In the left-hand menu, click on “Groups”, and then choose the name of the Group whose member privileges you’d like to change.
In the top menu, click on the “Members” tab. Here you’ll see a list of all the members of that Group, along with their current permissions. To edit a member’s permissions, click on the pencil icon next to their name, edit the “Owner”, “Membership Manager”, and “Poster” boxes as desired, then click the tick icon to save the new permissions.
